Done by: Bill W. Evansville IN ... 3 car race shop and several pit sets.
Bill says, "The dio's are of the Heinz 57 Variety. The majority of the "crew" members came from the old ('91-'93) Racing Champion "Pit Scenes". I re-painted them with paint pens and used 1/64 scale slot car decals. Other figures came from manufacturers such as Preiser (German trains), Tamiya, Fujimi, Hasegawa, Italeri, and Jimmy Flintstone. All found on eBay by searching terms such as "1/24 figure", "1/24 scene", "diorama"," Jimmy Flintstone", etc. Most figures are long out of production.
The tools and goodies came from everywhere. Resin molded, photo-etched, suspension springs that came out of ink pens, etc. Monogram used to make kits with driver figures and tool/toolbox accessories. They even made a 1/24 scale Irvin/Kodak and Elliott/Coors trailer-transporters (truck sold separately) that were FULL of goodies. That's where I got the workbenches w/overhead drawers."
